Articling Students

Volunteering at one of our Free Legal Clinics means that you will volunteer about once every other month at a Clinic. At a Clinic you will meet with 3-4 clients with low-income, for up to an hour each, and provide them with legal advice. We host Clinics in communities throughout Saskatchewan. If we do not have a Clinic in your community you can sign-up for one of our telephone Clinics and provide legal advice via the telephone to clients throughout Saskatchewan who do not reside in a community with a Clinic. Our exclusively telephone Clinics are Criminal, Meadow Lake, La Ronge, Estevan and Weyburn. Although these Clinics are stated as locations, they are telephone clinics, and you DO NOT have to live in that community to volunteer with the clinic.

With the Panel Program, volunteer lawyers receive screened referrals via email of clients' legal matters that are limited scope to full legal representation. You can accept or decline the referral.
